Introduction

The Sandon Park and Ride facility is located just outside Sandon at the A12/A414/A1060 Maldon Road interchange. There are 1,175 free parking spaces, covered cycle parking facilities for 20 bikes and a terminus building on the site, which is served by state of the art buses operating a 10 minute frequency from 0700 to 1900 Monday to Saturday (excluding Bank Holidays).

An increased frequency operates Monday to Friday between 0730 until 0900 (every 6 minutes) and from 1530 until 1900 (every 7 or 8 minutes).

Concessionary bus pass holders may travel free after 0900** Monday to Friday and all day on Saturday.
Children under 16 years travel for free at all times.
