Our Aims and Priorities

We want our children and young people to:
  • be healthy – enjoying the best possible health and being able to make healthy lifestyle choices;
  • stay safe - being protected from harm, living in safe and stable families and communities, and growing up to be capable of looking after themselves;
  • enjoy and achieve - having the opportunities to reach their potential, enjoying their learning, and developing a broad range of skills for adulthood;
  • make a positive contribution - enjoying a range of opportunities that develop confidence and positive attitudes and behaviours, enabling them
  • to contribute responsibly and positively to the life of their local communities; and
  • achieve economic wellbeing - living in decent homes and being well prepared for work and being able to achieve their full potential in adult life.
