CareCall Solutions
They offer a range of telephone call check services that allow relatives and carers peace of mind when an elderly or vulnerable person is left alone. The services they provide include: Welfare Check, Medi-Call, Insulin Reminder, Night Safety Call and Personal Reminders.

Basildon District Volunteer Carers Wheelchair Loan Service
This service enables any resident of any age within the Basildon borough to hire a wheelchair free of charge. They have a large fleet of wheelchairs available for both long and short terms loans. In order to hire one of their wheel chairs they require a deposit (refundable) and proof in identity.


Toe Nail Cutting Services

Toe Nail Cutting in the Community (TONIC)
This is a toe nail cutting service provided by Basildon District Volunteer Carers for those people who are unable to cut their own toe nails. Trained volunteers carry out the toe nail cutting at a small fee of £11. This service is provided to those who live in the Basildon borough.


Returning from hospital


Coming out of hospital

It explains what arrangements should be put in place to make someone feel confident about going home, and who is responsible for making them.
